IC2 partners through its affiliate in Argentina has constituted Administradora de Monedores Electrónicos, S.A., a company which together with Traslado Electrónicos S.A., holds a group of 70 transportation companies in the city of Buenos Aires.
AME, has been the network of transportation recharging systems of the City of Buenos Aires since the SUBE card was implemented. SUBE implies the integration of a single pre-paid system with an electronic card for all the transportation systems of the city.
In the next months, AME will launch its own high-class functionality card which will offer from transportation, to cell phone charging to micropayments. At present the network counts with two thousand extended owned points of sale in the entire city at bus lines, bus stops, universities and public buildings. AME has started a self-service machine installation process at all spots of higher passengers transit in the city.
